Senior Golang Developer

Reporting to the Manager of Middleware Product Engineering the Golang Software Engineer will be working to extend functionality for client’s API gateway on the cloud. The objective is to architect and engineer core components of client’s high-performance integration gateways.

• Analyze existing programs and modify the application code to create enhancements while accepting guidance from legacy platform SMEs

To be qualified for this position:

• Expert level experience with Golang
• Experience with API Gateways
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with Node.js
• Experience with web services (REST & SOAP)
• Strong understanding of web service authentication and security technologies, such as OAuth, JWT, mutual TLS, and WSSE
• Strong understanding of client and server SSL certificates
• Ability to create well tested software
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 6+ years of progressive work experience designing business processes, process mapping, working on process improvement initiatives, and business applications system design
