Senior Full-Stack React/Node/Ruby developer

A leading property management company is looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our rapidly growing company. Our platform changes the way rental properties are managed. We provide rental owners with a flexible solution to manage their properties end-to-end from anywhere in the world through technology. Your work will directly impact the lives of those who are looking for their new home and those who are bringing homes to tenants. We’re looking for a motivated engineer with a strong desire to build software that solves real world problems. We work in a fast paced environment, with a small team of engineers, designers, and operations specialists. Thus you’re expected to be your own tech lead and own your solution end-to-end. If you love solving complex problems and aspire to build software that will change an industry, we're interested. Finally, although our main office is in San Francisco, this position is remote friendly. Many of us on the engineering team are located across the US.

• Architect and build end-to-end solutions (from backend, to API, to front end UI)
• Collaborate with a small team of engineers to develop and enforce code quality standards and tooling to improve engineering velocity

• 5+ years of professional software development experience in multi-person development teams, building and shipping large features
• A product-first approach to building software. You care about the real world functionality of your programming
• Be self-motivated and highly entrepreneurial, with a passion for chasing impactful opportunities
• Excellent communication skills - can clearly articulate requirements, challenges and product ideas
• Full stack knowledge - experienced in React, NodeJS, Ruby on Rails, Postgres

Nice to have:

• Familiar with GraphQL and Apollo
• Experience in Typescript
• Prefer raw SQL to ORM, working knowledge of Postgresql
• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent
