Ecommerce Java Developer

We are a boutique ecommerce agency with a diverse clientele ranging from fashion, beauty, lifestyle, media, to B2B. We are technology systems experts well-versed in major platforms and provide a comprehensive array of services such as digital marketing, UX, creative design, eCommerce strategy, and our own proprietary products.

We collaborate with numerous renowned brands across the globe, and we are seeking a skilled mid-level Java engineer to work with us on a contract basis to build and maintain our ecommerce platforms for clients. The contractor will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new features and functionalities for our clients' ecommerce sites, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain ecommerce platforms.
  • Collaborate with the design and development team to create new features and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and fix any issues that arise on the ecommerce platforms.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in Java and ecommerce technology.

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in Java development.
  • Experience with Spring Framework.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Source Control (GIT).
  • Basic Linux command knowledge.
  • Experience with ecommerce platforms and technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) a plus.
  • Familiarity with container-based technologies a plus.
